A resin detail set from the Czech maker Brengun intended for a model of the MiG-29A fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces selected plastic parts with more accurate resin castings.
The set brings a more accurate radome (the cover of the nose antenna) and the closed upper auxiliary air intakes (the louvers on the upper side of the leading edges of the wing roots). On the ground the MiG-29 had the main intakes covered and drew air through the upper openings; this set makes it possible to show the machine in a realistic ground configuration with the upper intakes closed.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Check the fit with the fuselage and the leading edges, and protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
