About product

Spray masks – MiG-21PFM, 1:72, Eduard

A set of pre-cut masks in kabuki tape for a model of the Soviet MiG-21PFM fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks cover the framing of the canopy and the landing gear wheels; kabuki tape copies the shapes exactly and comes off easily once painted.

The real subject

The MiG-21PFM was one of the widespread versions of the supersonic MiG-21. It served with dozens of air forces including the Warsaw Pact states and was distinguished by a fixed windscreen and a canopy hinged to the side.

What the masks are for

  • Masking the canopy frames when airbrushing
  • Covering the wheels for a clean separation of tire and hub
  • Sharp and clean paint edges

Who they are for

  • Builders of the MiG-21 in 1:72 scale
  • Modelers working with an airbrush
  • Supporters of quick and clean work without hand-laid tape
