Injection-molded plastic kit of the transport version of the light Mil Mi-2 helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The package contains parts in gray plastic, clear glazing for the cabin and a decal sheet. The model has an engraved panel texture and a well-worked interior of the transport cabin.
The Mil Mi-2 is a light twin-engine helicopter which entered service in the middle of the 1960s and was built in series under license in Poland by the PZL works. The Mi-2T version is the basic transport and utility machine intended to carry people and freight, for training and for liaison duties. Unlike the armed combat versions it carries no anti-tank armament and concentrates on transport and multi-purpose use with military and civil operators alike.
Join the plastic parts with a thin modeling cement. Finish and paint the cabin interior before closing the fuselage up, because it is clearly visible through the glazing. Apply a primer before varnishing and spray with an airbrush. A gloss varnish compatible with the paint will make it easier to apply the decals without trapped bubbles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
