An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Soviet Mil Mi-8 multipurpose helicopter in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Smer. It is a kit of simpler construction from a proven mold, which thanks to its modest demands makes a good way into helicopter modeling and at the same time a pleasant build for a relaxed afternoon.
The Mil Mi-8 is one of the most widely used helicopters in the world. This twin-engine machine was created in the Soviet Union as a universal transport helicopter and in many versions it still serves in armed forces and in civilian operation today. It became famous for its reliability, its large carrying capacity and its service in the most varied conditions.
Glue the plastic with modeling cement and sand the fuselage and nacelle joints carefully. Mask the cabin glazing before painting. Apply the camouflage with an airbrush or a brush; a gloss coat under the decals helps and a matte varnish unifies the whole.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
