1:72 MS-406 is a photo-etched accessory set for a plastic kit of the French fighter that you have already bought, not an airplane model. The metal parts replace simplified plastic details.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Brengun. It is an aftermarket accessory to a plastic kit, which has to be obtained separately: the set does not make up an aircraft on its own. Photo-etched sheet is used in modeling where the simplification of an injected part shows best: in the cockpit, on grilles, fittings and thin sheet metal parts of the airframe.
The Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 was the main French fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled V12 engine and its structure was mixed, a metal frame with wooden and fabric parts of the skin. It lagged behind its contemporary opponents in speed and rate of climb, yet over a thousand were built and it served with other operators outside France as well.
Before you start gluing, read the instructions right through and sort the parts into three groups: what belongs in the cockpit, what goes under the skin before the airframe is closed, and what is added only to the finished sprayed model. That simple step avoids the most common mistake, where a finished cockpit has to be opened again because of a forgotten part. Meanwhile leave the parts in the fret and take them out gradually.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
