RS models NA-64 - a plastic kit of the two-seat trainer in 1:72 scale from RS Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat NA-64 trainer in 1:72 scale from RS Models. It is a short-run set with fine detail, typical of this manufacturer. The model captures a less usual training machine of the turn of the 1930s and 1940s.
The NA-64 was a two-seat monoplane trainer from North American, close in design to the later advanced trainers. It served to train pilots and was notable for its fixed landing gear. The machines ordered for France were in part transferred after 1940 to Canada, where they were used under the name Yale for flying training.
Clean up the short-run parts carefully and dry-fit them. Fill and sand the joints. Use thin cement for the plastic and super glue for the fine parts. Apply a gloss coat before the decals and mask the cockpit.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
