A resin detail set from Armory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with faithfully cast resin wheels with weighted tires. It is intended for models of the North American F-100D Super Sabre in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a landing gear accessory.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was an American supersonic fighter, the first production machine able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. The F-100D version was a fighter-bomber variant and served widely in the fighting in Vietnam. Realistic landing gear with sagged tires adds credibility to a model of this machine.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. Spray the tires separately with a matte paint and finish the hubs according to the scheme.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
