Self-adhesive glazing masks for the OV-10D Bronco aircraft in 1:72 scale, according to the name for the outer and the inner side. Cut for the ICM kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is an American observation and light attack aircraft with a pair of tail booms and a short fuselage nacelle. The cockpit is richly glazed at the sides and in front so that the crew can see the ground as well as possible. That is precisely what makes it one of the most laborious parts of the whole build.
The set is intended for masking the glazing during painting. According to the name it contains pieces for the outer and the inner side and is cut for the ICM kits in 1:72 scale.
Wash and degrease the glazing before applying and let them dry. Apply the inner masks before the fuselage is closed and the outer ones to the finished part, always before spraying. Press the edges down with a wooden stick and look them over against the light to see whether they stand up anywhere. Lay the interior color on first and, once it has dried, the top finish, both in several thin coats. Take the masks off shortly after the paint has dried, pulling at a slight angle to the surface.
The set pays off on broken-up glazing, where cutting tape would take more time than the rest of the build. The frames come out straight and equally wide and the glass stays protected throughout the painting. This is an accessory: the kit, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
