Plastic kit of the American OV-10A Bronco observation and attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from Academy.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American twin-boom Rockwell OV-10A Bronco observation and light attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the South Korean manufacturer Academy. The model has finely engraved panel lines and riveting, a well-worked cockpit interior, various underwing stores and good decals.
The OV-10A Bronco won the American program for a light armed reconnaissance aircraft (LARA) for counter-insurgency (COIN) use. It entered service with the Air Force, the Navy and the Marine Corps at the end of the 1960s and served intensively in Vietnam. A pair of turboprop engines, the twin-boom layout and the excellent view from the glazed cockpit made it an ideal machine for observation, forward air control and direct support.
Fit the three-piece cockpit canopy carefully and test the fit of the parts dry. Glue with liquid cement for plastic, apply a primer and spray the camouflage with an airbrush. Bring out the engraved panels and the riveting with a dark wash; mask the glazing before spraying and apply a gloss clear coat before the decals. Paint the underwing stores separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
