Resin underwing pylons for the OV-10D Bronco in 1:72 scale are a detailing accessory to a plastic kit, not a model of the aircraft in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin underwing pylons for a model of the late OV-10D Bronco version in 1:72 scale. This is an accessory with which you replace the corresponding plastic parts of the kit. The casting is thinner, has sharper edges and a smoother surface, which in a small scale is visible at first glance.
The OV-10D was a later version of the Bronco adapted for night observation and light strike tasks with the US Marine Corps, recognizable above all by the changed forward fuselage with sensor equipment. The design stayed true to the original concept: two turboprop engines, tail booms and a tandem cockpit with a very good view. The aircraft is often modeled with external stores, so the shape and the fineness of the pylons play a substantial part in the overall impression of the model.
Before the build, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, which removes the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a cutting disc and sand the surfaces down, ideally wet and with respiratory protection. For gluing use super glue, that is, cyanoacrylate, and hold the small parts with tweezers. Before applying the paint, spray on a primer, which will even the resin out with the surrounding plastic and show any imperfections of the surface before a glossy layer of varnish emphasizes them.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
