A resin wing conversion for the P-47D-30 Thunderbolt fighter in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Quickboost: a detail conversion accessory, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin conversion set for converting the wing of the American P-47D-30 Thunderbolt fighter in 1:72 scale from the brand Quickboost. It is not an aircraft model but a conversion part for more experienced modelers that adjusts the wing of an existing model into the form matching the late production D-30 version.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter with a radial engine that went through a number of changes toward the end of the war. The late versions of the D series brought changes to the wing and small improvements. This resin set makes it possible to convert a base model into the late subversion without laborious cutting from plastic. Check the extent of the changes on the package. The part is intended for converting an existing Thunderbolt model in the same scale.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean the surfaces up; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate): ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Try the mating surfaces dry beforehand and fill and sand the transitions if necessary.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin conversion accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
