A detail cockpit set from Eduard's Brassin line, made by direct 3D printing from resin, intended to refine the model of the American fighter P-51D Mustang in the block 15 and later version, in the small 1:72 scale. This is not an aircraft kit, but a resin accessory that replaces the plastic cockpit.
Despite the small scale, the set offers a richly detailed 3D-printed cockpit with an accurate instrument panel, seat and side panels; decals for the instruments are usually included too. The parts are designed as an easily glued replacement for the original plastic cockpit.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release agent, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection when sanding. In 1:72 scale, work with a sharp tool and tweezers, and paint over a quality primer.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
