A detail set of landing gear wheels for the American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. The wheels carry the block tread pattern in variant 2 and replace the plastic parts from the base kit. The accurate casting captures the profile of the tread as well as the detail of the hub and the tire.
The set usually contains the main wheels and the tail wheel. Different tread patterns matched different period tire manufacturers, which is why Eduard offers the wheels in several variants; this one has the block tread pattern in variant 2. Realistic wheels improve the look of the landing gear considerably.
This is a detail set on its own. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
