A propeller with a jig for the Polikarpov U-2/Po-2 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model, but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cast resin two-blade propeller for the Soviet Polikarpov U-2/Po-2 biplane in 1:72 scale, completed with an assembly jig for setting the blade angle correctly. It is an aftermarket detail part that replaces the simplified plastic propeller from the base kit, not an airplane model.
The Polikarpov U-2, renamed Po-2 after 1944 and popularly called the Kukuruznik, was a Soviet biplane trainer and multirole aircraft, deployed during the war also as a light night bomber. It was powered by the five-cylinder Shvetsov M-11 radial engine, which turned a two-blade wooden propeller. It was built in enormous numbers and served for decades.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Use the jig supplied to set the blades symmetrically; a wooden propeller comes out once painted in wood shades with fine glazing.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
