Plastyk 1:72 PZL P.7a - Romanian Air Force is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish all-metal fighter in a boxing with decals for the Romanian Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from a Polish manufacturer captures the prewar Polish P.7a fighter in a boxing with decals for the Romanian Air Force. It is a simpler model from an older-generation mold, suited to collectors of Polish as well as Romanian prewar aviation history.
The PZL P.7a was a Polish all-metal fighter with a characteristic cranked high-mounted gull wing and an open cockpit, powered by a radial engine. Besides the Polish Air Force, aircraft of this type also reached other users, and the Romanian version in particular offers an attractive color scheme. In the early 1930s the type was among the most modern fighters and it was the predecessor of the P.11 type.
With an older mold, clean the fit up: fill the joints and sand them down, and treat the surfaces with primer. Glue with thin cement for plastic. Seat the wing struts and the landing gear carefully. Use gloss varnish before the decals and finally even the surface out with matte varnish. Pay attention to the different color scheme of this user.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
