A plastic kit from Kovozavody Prostejov (KP) capturing the Praga E-114B light sport aircraft, nicknamed the Air Baby, in 1:72 scale. The set contains injection-molded plastic parts, clear canopy parts, decals and instructions; the package offers several marking options.
The Praga E-114 was a Czechoslovak two-seat cantilever high-wing cabin aircraft of the 1930s, with the seats side by side. Its low weight earned it the nickname Air Baby. Besides being built in Prague at CKD-Praga, it was also made under license in Great Britain by Hills and Sons as the Hillson Praga. The aircraft proved itself as an inexpensive machine that was pleasant to fly, for sport as well as training purposes.
A small aircraft rewards careful dry-fitting; glue with thin cement for plastic and mask the canopy before varnishing. Spray the subtle civil shades with an airbrush over a primer and settle the decals onto gloss varnish, so that the registration marks stand out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
