A small imitation of fasteners for models. The head is low and wider than the shank, and in its face it has a straight slot for a flat screwdriver. The 1.3 mm size is among the largest in this line, so the element is distinct even from a distance, not only in a close photograph.
A large size suits surfaces where a small screw would be lost: on side panels, on sheet-metal covers and boxes, on the mounting of carriers and footpegs or on models of larger machinery and machines for dioramas. In the scales in which motorcycle models are usually built it matches a really hefty joint. With such screws, moreover, the difference from a head suggested in an injection-molded part shows well: a separate element has a sharp edge and a distinct slot, whereas of a molded relief usually nothing is left once the seam has been sanded.
For the modeler who builds in a larger scale or adds machinery and machines to dioramas and needs fasteners that will be seen. This is an accessory for a kit, not a kit in itself. A model, paints and glue are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
