Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure set from the Czech maker CMK in 1:72 scale. The box contains two human figures and an elephant: a standing RAF mechanic, a seated mahout and an Asian elephant. The set serves to bring aviation dioramas from the India-Burma theater to life and is intended for more experienced modelers used to working with resin.
During the Second World War elephants were commonly used in India and Burma to move heavy loads, including parts of aircraft and materiel, where machinery was not enough. A mahout is the rider and keeper assigned to an elephant. The scene joins RAF ground personnel with this period means of transport.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do the sanding of resin with respiratory protection. Paint the figures with acrylics or oils; bringing the detail out with shading works well.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
