A set of plastic figures of Romanian infantry of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is not a vehicle but a set of soldiers that will bring a diorama to life or fill out a scene with vehicles of the same scale. The package holds four figures; the parts are designed as snap-fit, that is meant to go together without glue. Take the weapons and poses from the contents of the package.
During the war the Romanian army took part in the fighting on the Eastern Front alongside Germany, among other places at Odessa and Stalingrad. In 1944 Romania changed to the Allied side. The infantry wore characteristic uniforms and helmets different from both the German and the Soviet ones.
Clean up the parting lines; even with snap-fit it is a good idea to strengthen the joints with a drop of glue. Choose a fine brush and acrylic paints for figures, a dark wash in the folds of the uniforms and a dry brush on the raised areas.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
