Scammell Pioneer Tank Transporter with the TRCU30 trailer and a Crusader Mk. I/II tank is a plastic kit of a British tractor with a trailer and a tank in 1:72 scale from IBG.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG. The set combines the British Scammell Pioneer heavy tractor, the TRCU30 transport trailer and a Crusader Mk. I/II cruiser tank, so you can put a complete transport combination together.
The Scammell Pioneer was a British heavy tractor with excellent cross-country performance which proved itself among other roles as a tractor for moving tanks over long distances. Paired with a low-loading trailer it served to shift armor including the Crusader cruiser tanks, which were among the typical British tanks of the early war years in North Africa.
The combination has several sprues and a lot of wheels, so pay attention to seating them cleanly and symmetrically. Paint the chassis and the running gear before you close them up. An airbrush and primer give an even base; dust and mud on the wheels and the underside are built up with pigments and washes. The tank and the tractor can be displayed on their own or as a whole.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
