The colored 3D-printed interior for the Tornado F.3 in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio is a three-dimensional print on decal paper, completed according to the maker with printed resin parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
Quinta Studio offers a way of getting three-dimensional and already painted detail into a cockpit without photo-etch and without a brush. The panels are printed in a layer on a decal paper carrier, so they have real height, and yet they are transferred like an ordinary decal. According to the maker the set moreover includes printed resin parts. It is intended for the interceptor version of the Tornado with the designation F.3 in 1:48 scale.
The air defense variant of the European Tornado came about for the defense of British airspace over the North Sea. Against the strike version it was given a lengthened nose for the radar, a longer fuselage with further fuel and armament formed by long-range guided missiles. The crew consisted of a pilot and a weapons systems operator sitting behind him. The type served with the Royal Air Force until 2011 and also flew in Italy and Saudi Arabia.
Cut the elements out with a narrow border, soak them briefly and transfer them onto a dry and degreased surface of the part. Gloss varnish does not suit under these panels; they hold well on a smooth matte surface. Apply pressure with a soft rubber tip, so that the relief is not crushed. Leave out decal softener; it will damage the printed resin. Wash the resin parts first and bond them with super glue.
