A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a set of exactly cast wheels for the front steering axle for models of the German half-track vehicles Sd.Kfz. 250 and Sd.Kfz. 10, which shared an identical chassis. The castings replace the plastic parts of the corresponding kits and refine both the tread pattern and the profile of the tires.
The light half-track carrier Sd.Kfz. 250 and the artillery tractor Sd.Kfz. 10 were among the most common German half-tracks of the Second World War and were built on an almost identical tracked and wheeled chassis. The front steering wheels are clearly visible at a small scale, and rendering them faithfully brings a model noticeably to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection; glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Even the tires out in matte dark gray, bring the tread out with a drybrush and finally add dust and mud pigments for the effect of use in the field.
The resin detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
