Eduard 1:72 Seatbelts German WWI is a photo-etched set of seat belts for the pilot seats of German aircraft of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set of seat belts, not a model in its own right. The metal photo-etching in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard faithfully replaces the simplified or missing belts in a cockpit and gives the seat a realistic look. The set is intended for models of German aircraft of the First World War period.
The precisely shaped straps, buckles and fittings match the period pattern. Once shaped and painted, the belts look like real fabric with metal buckles, which markedly brings to life the otherwise empty open cockpit of a biplane.
Carefully separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and make the bends over a metal ruler. Bond with super glue or a small drop of epoxy. The belts gain depth if, once painted, you gently accent them with a dark wash and a dry brush.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
