Photo-etched steel harness belts in 1:72 scale for models of the fighters of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
Responsibility details are not available.
Harness belts are the first thing a viewer sees in a cockpit. An empty seat makes a finished model look unfinished, whereas belts draped over its edge give the space both scale and life, even at the small size of 1:72. The set is intended for the fighters of the Imperial Japanese Navy, whose belts differed in pattern from the machines of other countries.
Steel photo-etch holds the shape you bend it into. You can therefore fold a strap over the edge of the seat, wave it and let it hang freely to the floor of the cabin without its straightening itself out. The manufacturer's instructions give the exact make-up of the set and the placement of the individual features; follow them also in deciding which part belongs on the seat and which on the cabin frame.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by twisting. Work with fine-tipped tweezers and over a flat surface, because a piece of this size is searched for in vain in a carpet. Shape the belts before you glue them in, and glue them with super glue applied in a really small amount, ideally with a pin. Cement for plastic has no effect on metal. If you decide to paint the pieces, degrease them first and use a primer, or the paint will not hold on smooth metal.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
