A set of 1:72 painting masks for a model of the Short Sunderland Mk.V: accurately shaped self-adhesive masks for painting the extensive glazing of the flying boat cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates in 1:72 scale for a plastic model of the British Short Sunderland Mk.V flying boat, not a kit. The masks are cut from fine yellow Japanese (kabuki) tape, which follows exactly the many frames of the large glazed cabin and the turrets.
The Sunderland has a great many windows and intricate glazing, which is slow to mask by hand. Ready-made templates speed the work up markedly and ensure clean, sharp transitions. Aircraft sets usually include masks for the wheel hubs as well.
A separate mask set. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
