Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Zvezda. It represents Red Army infantrymen from the opening period of the Great Patriotic War, that is from the years 1941 to 1943. The figures are intended to be assembled, painted and used in dioramas or in tabletop wargames. The box contains unpainted figures on plastic sprues.
In the first years of the war the armament of the Soviet infantry consisted of Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifles, submachine guns and light machine guns. The soldiers wore the field uniform of the day with a helmet and canvas kit. The set captures figures in combat poses suited to scenes from the Eastern Front.
Separate the small parts from the sprue carefully and clean up the flash. For 1:72 scale a base coat of primer first and then shading works well. The faces and the kit come out best with a dry brush or thin washes. Given the size of the figures, work with a fine brush and good light.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
