The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I was a British fighter of the early Second World War with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It carried eight 7.7 mm machine guns in the wings, four in each wing half. Open gun bays make a rewarding subject for a striking diorama treatment.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is worth spraying the inner metal surfaces, bringing them up with a wash and drybrushing them lightly to pull out the detail.
