1:72 Spitfire Mk. IX popisky

Spitfire Mk. IX stencils 1:72 (Eduard)

This is a separate set of wet decals from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, meant for models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX fighter in 1:72 scale. The sheet contains the small technical stencils, service and warning inscriptions and data markings matching the real aircraft. It is not a model and not a mask — it is a supplementary decal sheet. Given the small scale, the inscriptions are very fine and they call for exact print quality.

What the set is for

A complete set of stencils gives a Spitfire Mk. IX model a realistic look with all the small inscriptions that the sheet in the kit box in this scale often only suggests. The national insignia and personal markings you choose separately.

Application tips

• Apply them over a smooth gloss varnish against the dried-edge effect
• Use a decal softener and a setting solution so that the small inscriptions grip the surface
• Once dry, go over them with matte or semi-gloss varnish
• In the small scale work with sharp tweezers and move the stencils one at a time

Who the set is for

• Modelers who want accurate technical markings for the Spitfire Mk. IX in 1:72
• Builders for whom the decals from the kit box are not enough

This is not a model and not a mask. Paints, varnish, the model and glue are not included in the package.
