The Eduard photo-etched set for the Spitfire Mk.Vb 1:72 is a photo-etched detail accessory for sharpening a plastic kit of this fighter, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched (brass) set of details in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for sharpening a plastic kit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter. The photo-etched parts replace and complete the small items that cannot be faithfully produced in injected plastic, typically cockpit detail, instrument panels, controls, seat belts and fine exterior parts. The set is aimed at modelers who want to lift a basic kit to a higher level.
The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-engine fighter of the Second World War. The Mk.Vb version received the so-called B wing with a pair of cannons and machine guns and was the most widespread variant of the Spitfire in the first half of the war, used on a number of fronts.
Carefully separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them on the edge of a blade or in a bender and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a two-part adhesive. Color surfaces are accented with a brush, while matte brass parts are best primed before varnishing. Working with fine photo-etched parts calls for tweezers, a sharp knife and patience.
This is an accessory, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
