Eduard 1:72 Stirling Mk. III mask set

This is not a kit but a set of die-cut self-adhesive masks. The masks follow exactly the shape of the frames of the extensive glazing and of the other clear parts of the model of the British four-engine Short Stirling Mk.III heavy bomber in 1:72 scale, and they give a sharp, clean transition between the paint of the frames and the glazing. Circular masks for the wheel hubs are usually included as well.

Use

• Carefully lift the mask off the backing with tweezers and stick it onto degreased glazing.
• Press the edges down firmly so that no paint can creep underneath.
• Spray with an airbrush in thin coats and remove the masks once the paint is dry.
• The die-cut shape speeds up the masking of the bomber's intricate glazing considerably.
