A precisely turned brass barrel for the 76.2 mm F-34 gun, made to replace the plastic barrel from the 1:72 T-34/76 tank kit. The metal barrel has a perfectly straight axis, a crisp muzzle and fine relief that a plastic part can hardly match. It is a detailing accessory from a Czech manufacturer, not a model.
The 76.2 mm F-34 gun was the main armament of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank of the Second World War and ranked among the most effective tank guns of its day.
Cut off the original plastic barrel, clean up the opening in the mantlet and glue the brass barrel in place with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and cover it with primer so that the shade holds well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
