Landing gear bay masks for a model of the T/A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the HobbyBoss company.
Responsibility details are not available.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II is an American subsonic attack aircraft, derived in shape from the F-8 Crusader fighter but shorter and built for carrying armament, not for speed. The T/A-7 designation covers the two-seat training form besides the single-seat machines. The type served with the navy and with land-based aviation and saw a range of color schemes, from gray and white naval finishes to later dark camouflage.
The set contains landing gear bay masks, that is pieces pre-cut to the shape of the openings in the wing and the fuselage. They cover a bay, so the inside and the outer surface can be painted separately and no overspray from the outer finish gets into a finished bay. The need to stuff the openings with paper or modeling putty, where the edge is hard to keep in check, falls away with it. The masks are intended for a T/A-7 model in 1:72 scale from the HobbyBoss company.
The masking set alone is supplied. The kit, paints and decals are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
