Tempest Mk.V cannon barrels (early version) 1:72 from Special Hobby (CMK) are resin replacement barrels for the wing cannon of Hawker Tempest models.

This is a resin accessory, not a kit. The set contains accurately cast barrels for the 20 mm wing cannon matching the early production version of the Tempest Mk.V, on which the barrels projected well beyond the leading edge of the wing. They replace the plastic parts and give the model finer and more accurate detail.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British fighter of the Second World War with the powerful Napier Sabre engine. It excelled in high speed at low altitude and became famous for shooting down V-1 flying bombs over England.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and cut them from the casting blocks. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate (superglue). Straighten the thin barrels and watch their alignment; apply a primer before painting. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
