Kovozavody Prostejov offer this single-seat sailplane from Kunovice in the form in which it served in the United States under the name TG-10D Peregrine. 1:72 scale gives a small model that will fit even into a crowded display case and yet will not be lost among the fighters.

The L-33 Solo type was designed by the Let works as an all-metal club sailplane for pilots who had just moved on to solo flights. It is simple to handle, durable and forgiving of mistakes, which made it a well-liked training machine outside Europe as well. The US Air Force Academy took it on precisely under the designation TG-10D and used it for advanced training, including cross-country flights.

Advice on building a sailplane

With a glider it is the cleanliness of the surface that decides: fill the seams and sand them smooth, because on a uniformly light finish every unevenness shows. Seat the wing carefully to the dihedral and let the joint cure in position. Spray the white over a light base in thin coats, and apply pronounced stripes only onto a polished surface.
