A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale with the markings of German heavy tanks Tiger I in the early and mid production versions. The second part of the series devoted to the battalion with the number 502.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I changed step by step over the time of its production and kits respect these differences, so it is good to know which group a model belongs to. The early machines carried cylindrical air filter housings at the rear of the hull and a commander's cupola with vision slits in the wall. On machines of mid production the filters disappeared and the cupola was given a new shape with periscopes around its circumference. The angular hull with vertical walls and the 8.8cm gun with a barrel 56 calibers long stay common to both.
This set of markings is the second part of the series devoted to the machines of the German heavy tank battalion listed under the number 502 and keeps to the early and mid production versions of the Tiger I tank. The designs are printed for 1:72 scale.
These are wet decals. Trim the design off tight to the print, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and let it rest until it begins to slide over the backing paper. Prepare the base with gloss varnish; on a matte surface air settles under the film and the design turns white. On the coarse layer of paste coating on the armor a softener and pressure from a soft cloth help; the finished model is evened out with a matte varnish.
The sheet suits modelers who build German heavy tanks in a small scale and want to set the early or the mid production form apart. The sheet of decals is supplied on its own; the model, the paints and the glue do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
