The TK-S tank destroyer with the 37mm Puteaux SA 18 gun is a plastic kit of the Polish tankette in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer RPM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the Polish TKS tankette in the tank destroyer variant armed with a 37 mm Puteaux SA 18 gun. It is a short-run model meant for collectors of interwar Polish equipment.
The TKS tankette was an improved version of the TK-3 type and formed the backbone of the Polish reconnaissance and escort units in the late 1930s. Attempts to raise its firepower led to experimental modifications with heavier armament, among them the fitting of a 37 mm anti-tank gun. The aim was to give a small and fast vehicle the ability to fight armor.
First clean the flash off the parts. Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull up, where they are hard to reach later. The look benefits from matte Polish interwar shades and a final weathering with dust and mud on the lower parts of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
