A diorama accessory in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model - it is a tow cable set for improving a kit of the T-34/85 Mod.1945 tank and its postwar variants. It contains copper wire rope and cast resin end eyes with which you replace the coarse plastic cable from the box.
The T-34/85 was the most widespread version of the Soviet medium tank, with a turret carrying an 85 mm gun. The Model 1945 and the postwar series served with a number of armies long after the war. The crew carried tow cables on the hull and used them to recover vehicles; a hanging cable is among the prominent details on a model.
Shape the copper wire rope into a natural sag and glue both the eyes and the rope with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal, apply a primer and fine-tune the steel shade with a dark color, light rust and a wash in the brackets.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package.
