A detailed resin (3D-printed) set of exhaust nozzles for the Soviet heavy interceptor Tupolev Tu-128 (NATO code name Fiddler) in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that replaces the plastic nozzles from the kit with faithfully made resin parts. The set is conceived for the Tu-128 kits from Trumpeter.
The twin-engine Tu-128 was among the largest fighters of its day and its twin exhaust nozzles are a conspicuous part of the rear. The resin parts bring crisp petals and realistic depth, which plastic usually simplifies. The set therefore raises the scale accuracy of the rear of the model.
Separate the parts from their supports, wash them and degrease them; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. Paint the nozzles in burnt metal shades and bring the recesses out with a wash and a fine dry brush.
This is an accessory set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unpainted; the base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
