A television and a game console in 1:72 scale are scenic accessories for an interior diorama. Small things that give a living room or a clubroom a present-day atmosphere.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a television receiver together with a game console as stand-alone objects of a scene, not as parts of a particular model. This is typical equipment of a living room, a clubroom or a rest room, that is props for interior dioramas and vignettes. In 1:72 scale they are very small objects, but they set the period and the purpose of a room in a scene unmistakably.
Interior scenes live on the detail a viewer recognizes from life. A television with a console belongs in a civilian living room, in crew quarters, in a barrack room and in a clubroom, and goes nicely with armchairs, tables and other furniture from this line. Given the subject, this is equipment of a more recent period; it does not suit scenes from the first half of the 20th century.
Remove and clean the parts up carefully, as the small edges break off easily; work over a tray so that nothing disappears on you. For gluing use cyanoacrylate glue applied with the tip of a toothpick. In color a dark base and a satin varnish will do, because consumer electronics tend to be smooth and glossier than the furniture around them. Suggest the screen with a dark area and a fine light reflection along an edge, or with a drop of gloss varnish that creates the impression of glass. Do not add the wiring; in this scale a suggestion looks more convincing than real wire.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a part for a diorama. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
