A set of figures of an American tank crew in contemporary gear, 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The crews of American tanks wear fire-resistant overalls and the characteristic combat vehicle crewman helmet with a built-in communications set. It is by that helmet that a tanker is recognized at first glance, and he differs from an infantryman in his stance as well: the commander is usually out of the hatch to the waist, the driver shows only his head. A figure in the hatch also gives the model a sense of scale that the vehicle alone does not reveal.
A set of figures of an American tank crew in contemporary gear, in 1:72 scale. The number of figures and their poses are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry thoroughly. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and lightly sand the rest. In 1:72 scale it does not pay to chase fine detail: a base shade for the overalls, a darker shadow in the folds and a careful lightening of the raised areas are enough, and a face does with two shades. Fit the figure into the hatch dry before gluing and check that its shoulders go through the opening and that it sits at the right height.
The set suits modelers who build contemporary ground vehicles in 1:72 scale and want to man their vehicles with a crew or set them into a diorama. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
