Spitfire Mk.IX landing flaps PRINT 1:48 is a 3D-printed resin detail set by Eduard for plastic models of this legendary fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin detail set by Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that replaces the landing flaps of a plastic kit with more faithful parts. Direct 3D printing renders a finer structure than conventional castings, and photo-etched elements complete the set.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was created as an answer to the German fighters and was marked by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger, which markedly improved performance at altitude. The set represents the flaps lowered and adds an effect to the model that is noticeable especially when viewed from below.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean them up and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the photo-etched parts over a straightedge. Protect your airways when sanding and apply a primer before painting.
A 3D-printed detail set. It does not contain the model itself, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
