A resin set of main landing gear wheels in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK. This is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory that replaces the wheels from the plastic Wellington kit with more faithful castings.
The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engined bomber characterized by the geodetic construction of its fuselage, which stood up to considerable damage. The Mk.II version was powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines instead of the radial units of the basic version. The cast wheels carry a fine tire tread and hub detail and offer a sharper profile than the plastic parts.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin, and use primer before painting.
