In this scale the marque is known for small, finely rendered Second World War vehicles. The addition in the name specifies that this is a package with one model, unlike other items from the same marque that are supplied as a pair.
The Willys MB is the best-known light off-road vehicle of the Second World War and the basis of the whole later notion of a jeep. It came about from a US Army requirement for a small, light and durable vehicle for reconnaissance, communication and transport, but it could also tow light guns. The 37 mm anti-tank gun was precisely the typical burden this vehicle towed behind it: a light, easily moved weapon of infantry and airborne units that soon became obsolete against the later tanks but remained in wide use against light targets and firing positions. In a small scale the weathering is kept short: a fine wash into the recesses, light accenting of the edges and a little dust on the wheels and the underside are enough. The pairing of vehicle and gun is a rewarding one for a small diorama and for a simple base alike.
