A plastic kit of the Soviet experimental interceptor Ye-152M in 1:72 scale from Modelsvit. The model represents a less usual prototype from the era of high-altitude interceptors and suits collectors who are drawn to aircraft prototypes.
The Ye-152M was a Soviet experimental interceptor from the Mikoyan design bureau, dating from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It was created as part of the development of high-altitude, fast fighters intended to catch targets at great heights. The machine had a large single turbojet and a delta wing, and it remained at the prototype stage.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and take care over a clean wing-to-fuselage transition. Prototypes often suit metal shades and a natural aluminum finish, which comes out best once the joints are smoothed. After spraying a primer, apply the base color with an airbrush and set the decals on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
