A plastic model of the Zeppelin P-class LZ38/LZ40 airship in 1:720 scale from Mark I — a rigid military airship of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded kit of the rigid Zeppelin P-class military airship (LZ38/LZ40) in 1:720 scale from Mark I. Note — this is not an aircraft but a large rigid airship. The package holds plastic parts, a stand, decals and instructions, with the option of building two color finishes.
The P-class Zeppelins were among the first large combat airships of imperial Germany in the First World War. They served with army and navy units for reconnaissance and for bombing raids. This edition captures LZ38 and LZ40 of 1915 — among them one of the first airships sent against targets on British soil. They were giant rigid structures with a solid framework and gas cells.
The model has large smooth hull parts, so fill and sand the joints carefully to keep them from showing on the uniform surface. Prime first and apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats for an even finish. Place the model on the stand supplied; settle the fine decals with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
