A precise turned metal barrel from the Polish manufacturer RB model which replaces the plastic barrel of the heavy German 17 cm gun on the Geschützwagen Tiger self-propelled carrier (a late-war project on the Tiger chassis) in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a detail replacement part. The barrel is turned from metal, perfectly straight and true, with a faithful muzzle and a clean bore.
The mold seam left by gluing the halves together and the rounded plastic muzzle are both gone. The barrel stays perfectly straight despite its length and is more resistant to damage. The detail of the weapon lifts the impression of the whole vehicle.
Cut the plastic barrel off, drill a hole in the remaining part and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate. With a long barrel, take care to align the axis precisely.
This is an accessory detail part, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
