This is not a kit, but a diorama accessory from Dynamo-Models. The plaque relates to the unit from the name and serves to mark the base of a scene or a display case shelf. The size of 40 mm is given directly in the name. The name gives neither the material, nor the number of pieces, nor the surface finish.
The parenthesis 1st Italian says that this is the first Italian unit of this type. Italian formations in German service came into being after the autumn of 1943, when Italy left the war at the side of Germany and the north of the country remained under German control. The division with the sequence number 29 was raised from Italian volunteers and operated mainly in the north of Italy, among other things against partisan groups and in coastal defense. Note that the sequence number 29 was borne in turn by another formation as well, which is why the parenthesis in the name matters.
When you are building a scene from northern Italy, where several armed bodies mingled in one area, an unambiguous marking of the base is exceptionally useful. So place the plaque in a clearly visible spot, ideally on the front of the plinth on the axis of the model. Level the area before fitting so that the accessory seats fully. If you are preparing a glazed cover for the diorama, count on the thickness of the plaque so that it does not press against the cover.
