A emblem plaque for a diorama, not a kit. The plaque is fitted to a base, to a plinth or to the edge of a shelf and assigns to a scene the unit given in the name. The name of this plaque works with the order number alone and gives no honor title and no national qualification, just as with several other plaques of the same range. The size designation 25 mm is part of the name, and the material and the contents of the package are stated on the box.
Two Waffen-SS formations were raised in turn under the order number 30 at the end of the war. The first came about in 1944 from auxiliary police battalions with a majority of Belarusian and Ukrainian personnel and was committed in France against the resistance there, after which it was disbanded. The second was formed in 1945 from Belarusian personnel and never reached full strength. Which of them the badge on the plaque represents is suggested by the illustration on the packaging.
This plaque also suits less usual subjects, for example rear-area, guard or transport scenes, which cannot be defined from the terrain. The surface of the base beneath the plaque should be smooth and flat, otherwise the relief will not come down on its whole face. Before fitting it, check the direction from which the diorama is viewed, so that the badge does not end up on the far side.
