This is a diorama accessory 25 mm in size, not a model. The designation Type II in the name means that this is the second of the pair of forms Dynamo-Models carries for this formation; the first comes out as Type I separately. Collectors of the range commonly obtain both and fit them to two different scenes or display them side by side. When you need a particular variant, go by the designation of the type in the name; the design of both forms is shown by the illustration on the packaging.
The formation was made up of French volunteers and existed as a division only in 1945. Its short combat career ran through the February and March fighting in Pomerania, after which only a fraction of its strength was left, to the final days in Berlin in April 1945. For a diorama that means a very narrow window of time and at the same time a scene in which a winter to early-spring landscape, soaked terrain and vehicles in a condition matching a long withdrawal are called for.
If you have both forms, place them identically on the scenes, so that the pair in a display case reads as intent rather than as an oversight. Always settle the plaque on a finished surface, after the last sanding and varnishing of the base.
