LIGHT GREY FS36293

Mr.Paint Light Grey FS 36293

A lacquer-based modeling paint from the manufacturer Mr.Paint (MRP) in a light gray shade. The code FS 36293 in the name is the standardized designation of a specific shade. The paint has a thin, fluid consistency, is pre-thinned and ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle. The shade is used on modern American aircraft, typically on the undersides. The package contains 30 ml.

Use

• Intended exclusively for spraying with an airbrush; the thin consistency allows use straight from the bottle.
• Apply in several thin coats rather than one thick one; ideally over a primer.
• The recommended pressure is about 10–25 psi, depending on the airbrush and the nozzle.
• If needed, thin it with the manufacturer's lacquer thinner of the same range; the same thinner can be used to clean the airbrush after work.
• It bonds to plastic, resin and metal.

Who it is for

For modelers working with an airbrush who build modern American aircraft and are looking for an accurate light gray shade to the FS 36293 standard.

A solvent-based, flammable paint intended for the airbrush only. Work in a well-ventilated area, use a respirator and gloves, protect from open flame and keep out of the reach of children.
